UNC holds off Long Beach State down the stretch

North Carolina frittered away almost all of a 17-point lead forged in the second half last night, but held on behind the play of Larry Drew and Justin Knox to defeat Long Beach State. North Carolina won 96-91 decision at the Smith Center, after fending off a Long Beach State rally that sliced the lead to two points three times and to three points once.
