Good day for UNC football recruiting
Posted Feb 2, 2011
North Carolina coach Butch Davis and his staff got a strong addition to their recruiting class today with the commitment from four-star defensive tackle Delvon Simmons. He's rated the No. 25 defensive tackle in the country. The Tar Heels have inked three players from the ESPNU 150, and almost half of the class is comprised of four-star recruits. Simmons' coach, Jim Ward, said Simmons liked the idea of playing in a pure 4-3 defense. UNC has the No. 13 class in the country right now.
