Marvin Austin: "I made a mistake"

Contrite and apologetic, former UNC defensive tackle Marvin Austin expressed regret for the mistakes that cost him his senior year with the Tar Heels. "It was a tough situation," Austin said today at the NFL scouting combine. "It hurt a lot, having to sit the whole season out." Austin ran afoul of NCAA rules due to accepting two trips to California and two trips to Florida from agents.
