James McAdoo scores 44 points in record-setting win

James McAdoo set a VISAA state tournament record with 44 points as the Ambassadors won their 17th consecutive game and advanced to their second straight state championship game. Norfolk Christian will face Middleburg Academy at 3:30 p.m. today at Virginia State. McAdoo also grabbed 10 rebounds for his 15th double-double of the season. “He just played an all-around great game,” said Norfolk Christian coach Michael Allen.
