Delvon Simmons doesn't want to attend North Carolina
Posted Mar 9, 2011
McKeesport High School defensive lineman Delvon Simmons signed with the North Carolina Tar Heels last month, but he would like the marriage annulled. McKeesport coach Jim Ward told Rivals.com today that Simmons has asked for his release from the letter of intent. Ward said he hasn't heard yet from North Carolina whether it will release Simmons. It's just another chapter in a strange recruiting story.
