Posted Jan 13, 2008
Cowboys outside linebacker Greg Ellis was named The Associated Press' Comeback Player of the Year on Saturday. Ellis, who missed the last seven games of the 2006 season when he suffered a torn his left Achilles' tendon, returned in strong fashion in 2007. He finished second on the team with a career-high 12 ½ sacks and third with 13 quarterback pressures. "It's a blessing," Ellis said when told of the news.
