UNC football class likely to lose one, add another


One of the top players in UNC's 2011 football recruiting class no longer wants to play in Chapel Hill, and a former recruit could be headed back after diverting to the West Coast. Delvon Simmons, a SuperPrep All-American defensive lineman from McKeesport, Pa., wants to be released from his national letter-of-intent signed in February to attend another school. , a former SuperPrep All-America from Duncan, S.C., is leaving UCLA and will likely return to UNC, where he began his college career last summer.
