Tar Heels' backcourt players familiar with Thomas

North Carolina guards Kendall Marshall, Dexter Strickland and Leslie McDonald all are familiar with Washington guard Isaiah Thomas. Each of the Tar Heels faced Thomas at some point on the AAU circuit in high school, and their opinion of him hasn't changed much over the years. "He was pretty much doing the same thing he does now," Strickland said. And that "thing" would be winning.
