James McAdoo, Brad Beal lead East to McDonald's All-American Game victory

Brad Beal and East MVP James McAdoo each scored 17 points to lead the East past the West, 111-96, in the McDonald's boys' All-American Game at the United Center Wednesday. Three other East players were in double figures: West MVP Michael Gilchrist with 16, P.J. Hairston with 15 and Quinn Cook with 14. Khem Birch topped the West with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Austin Rivers and Anthony Davis each had 14. Kyle Wiltjer was also in double figures with 10.
