Arizona goes for ILB Quan Sturdivant from Tar Heels
Posted Apr 30, 2011
The Arizona Cardinals have used their sixth-round pick to select Quan Sturdivant, an inside linebacker from North Carolina who many had projected to go much earlier in the NFL draft. The 6-foot-1, 232-pound player missed five games with a hamstring injury last season. He led the Tar Heels in tackles as a sophomore and junior and, despite missing so much action with an injury, was third on the team with 61 last season.
