Perhaps no one lost more in the wave of NCAA-related suspensions that ravaged the Tar Heel defense last year than cornerback Kendric Burney, a first-team All-ACC pick in 2009 who'd started every game of his career before being sidelined with eligibility questions. Burney returned to start the last six games, adding a pair of interceptions to bring his career total to eleven.
