Tyus Jones Reflects on his Team USA U-16 Experience
Posted Jul 2, 2011
Apple Valley high school's Tyus Jones can't drive a car yet, but he drives past elite defenders at a brisk pace. The 15-year-old point guard, who just finished his freshman year, recently got back from a U-16 Team USA experience in Cancun, Mexico. Minnesota and Iowa have already offered him a scholarship, and many more, including Kansas are expected to follow suit. Jones has a chance to be the most heavily recruited athlete in Minnesota history.
