North Carolina a fine fit for OL John Ferranto
Posted Jul 9, 2011
The football coaches at the University of North Carolina project John Ferranto as an offensive lineman. So that's where he'll be lining up this fall as a senior at Burlington Township High School. Ferranto started at defensive end the past two years. "He's going to move to the offensive line because he's going to be there at the next level," Township coach Tom Maderia said. Ferranto also considered scholarship offers from Tulane, Temple and Connecticut. Other suitors included Boston College and Pittsburgh. His second trip to Chapel Hill confirmed his feeling that UNC is the right place.
