Mitch McGary Climbing Up Recruiting Lists

is a five-star power forward who has experienced a quick ascent to the top of recruiting rankings after not even being a starter a year ago. The 6-foot-10 McGary has done something rare for a young basketball talent – listened to his coaches. And it’s worked. McGary is the second-ranked player at his position – and fifth overall – for the class of 2012, according to Rivals.com. He’s drawn the attention from all of the sport’s blue bloods, including North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Connecticut, Texas, Arizona and Maryland. (Lost Lettermen)
