UNC introduces new interim head football coach Everett Withers

Everett Withers walked into the fifth floor conference room at the Kenan Football Center with confidence, taking his place at a podium and calmly addressing the media gathered to hear from UNC’s new interim head football coach. He was introduced by athletic director Dick Baddour as the man who will temporarily, at least for the 2011 season, fill the position vacated by Butch Davis, who was fired on Wednesday by the school’s chancellor Holden Thorp.
