Former UNC commit Nate Dortch commits to Miami

For the second time in seven months, coaching uncertainty elsewhere has helped land the University of Miami football team a recruit from South Fort Myers High School. In the wake of Butch Davis’s dismissal as North Carolina head coach last week, South senior cornerback Nate Dortch has changed his verbal commitment from the Tar Heels to the Hurricanes. “Nate is going to be a Hurricane. He’s always been a Miami fan,” South coach Grant Redhead said.
