Hunter Furr's decision leaves UNC thin in backfield


North Carolina junior , the only returning running back who had a carry a year ago, is set to transfer, the school announced Wednesday. Furr, who was listed second on the depth chart, is seeking more playing time according to a statement from UNC. Furr played in 11 games in 2010 and had five carries for 29 yards. Three carries for 27 yards came in the win over Florida State. (Durham Herald-Sun)
