Everett Withers era begins at UNC

A new era in UNC football got underway about 1:30 p.m. Friday. Dressed in a white shirt, khaki shorts and a blue UNC baseball cap, Everett Withers put the Tar Heels through their paces on an overcast afternoon. He bounced around the field from station to station, coaching and encouraging the players. Withers looked a bit uncomfortable as dozens of television cameras documented his every move.
