ACC Football Commitment Lists: Coastal Division, Aug. 10
Posted Aug 9, 2011
Miami picked up one recruit, snagging defensive back Nate Dortch. Dortch chose his home state ‘Canes after decommitting from North Carolina. UNC may be starting to see the fallout from Butch Davis’ firing. Since Davis left Chapel Hill, the Tar Heels have had three players transfer. Meanwhile, the aforementioned defensive back recruit Dortch, switched his pledge from the Tar Heels to the Hurricanes. One bright spot: linebacker Dan Mastromatteo, who had briefly de-committed after Davis’ dismissal, is now back on board with UNC.
