Quinton Coples: 'I was cleared'

The fact that Tar Heels defensive end Quinton Coples is on the practice field and eligible for games is no small accomplishment. With the scrutiny on players cranked up at UNC because of an NCAA investigation that uncovered nine rules violations, Coples found himself in the spotlight in April for attending a party in Washington, D.C., to celebrate former UNC linebacker Marvin Austin's entry to the NFL.
