Tar Heels have big holes at linebacker

There is still an open spot at one outside linebacker position, where sophomore Darius Lipford is battling for the starting job with freshman Travis Hughes, junior-college transfer Fabby Desir and senior Ebele Okakpu. The position as a whole, with Kevin Reddick and Brown as the foundation, remains both talented and experienced despite the losses.
