Kendric Burney signed to Panthers' practice squad

It seems the Carolina Panthers weren’t quite willing to part ways with former UNC and Southwest High School star Kendric Burney just yet. The NFL team announced Monday that Burney was among six players with whom they had agreed to terms with for its practice squad. Burney, a former All-ACC cornerback with the Tar Heels, signed with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent.
