Florida DT Sharrif Floyd declared inelegible, possible connection to John Blake
Posted Sep 6, 2011
Florida announced on Saturday that DT Sharrif Floyd was declared ineligible, a move that his high school coach said is possibly related to his recruitment by other schools. Ron Cohen, Floyd's coach at George Washington High in Philadelphia, suspects that Floyd's name came up in the NCAA investigation at North Carolina, where former assistant coach John Blake was alleged to have accepted money from an agent.
