Withers: empty seats won’t hurt recruiting

Although the empty seats were glaring to a television audience watching at home Saturday on the ACC Network, Everett Withers said he isn’t concerned that the less-than-capacity crowds will have an adverse affect on recruiting, “I don’t think it becomes an issue with recruits, because you’ve got to understand this place sells itself,” Withers said. “You get a great education, play in this beautiful stadium, play in a great conference like the ACC, play great opponents each week … I don’t think it becomes a problem.”
