It would be hard to draw up a better start to a season under the best of circumstances, let alone under the turmoil that preceded the opening of camp last month. Not only has UNC rallied around interim coach Everett Withers and opened burst out of the gate with three straight wins for only the second time since 1997, they’ve managed to show improvement every time out.
