UNC falls short at Georgia Tech 35-28
Posted Sep 24, 2011
All week long, UNC coach Everett Withers said he wasn’t worried about yards, but points. Problem was, UNC couldn’t put them on the scoreboard when it needed them the most Saturday, losing to No. 25 Georgia Tech 35-28. The Tar Heels trailed by as many as 14 points in the second half at Bobby Dodd Stadium, but tied it 28-28 midway through the fourth quarter on a 55-yard touchdown race by tailback Gio Bernard.
