Bronson Koenig commits to Wisconsin

Aquinas High School junior point guard Bronson Koenig gave a verbal commitment to play basketball for coach Bo Ryan and the University of Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon. Koenig, who also had scholarship offers from North Carolina, Duke, Kansas and others, informed Ryan today while attending the UW football game. The 6-foot-2 Koenig averaged 17 points per game and led the Blugolds to a 27-1 record and WIAA Division 3 state championship in March. Koenig’s father, Paul, confirmed the commitment.
