Tar Heels put away Pirates with big plays

North Carolina found the perfect way to combat a hostile record-setting crowd of 50,610 at East Carolina. The Tar Heels scored touchdowns on four straight first-half possessions, taking advantage of four Pirates turnovers in the process, and went on to a 35-20 win Saturday night at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
