Miami Hurricanes hang on, beat North Carolina
Posted Oct 15, 2011
The Hurricanes went into Chapel Hill’s Kenan Stadium knowing their offense needed to carry their ailing and underperforming defense. Led by Jacory Harris and a rotating cast of impressive receivers, the Canes did just that, defeating North Carolina 30-24. It was Miami’s first victory at UNC in five attempts, and kept the Hurricanes (3-3, 1-2 ACC) in the ACC race. The Tar Heels fell to 5-2 and 1-2.
