North Carolina allowed 59 points today, the most since a 69-14 loss at Louisville in 2005. The 59 points are the most scored by Clemson in the UNC series. The Tigers' previous high was 54 in 1974. After outscoring opponents 42-3 in the first quarter through the first six games of the season, the Tar Heels have been outscored 27-7 in the last two games vs. Miami (17-0) and Clemson (10-7).
