As North Carolina's players left the field, a member of the football staff yelled into the crowd, "Can we beat State?" There was a profanity in there as well, which underlined the point: Beating Wake Forest is all well and good, but there's an entire class of North Carolina players that have never beaten N.C. State. They'll get another chance in Raleigh next Saturday.
