Withers, Heels turn attention to ending skid against Pack

Before T.J. Thorpe met with reporters on Monday, the UNC freshman heard from a former high school girlfriend and N.C. State cheerleader who said her classmates in Raleigh were talking about him — and it wasn’t flattering. She was just another one of Thorpe’s friends and teachers from Jordan High who have been calling and texting this week in anticipation of Saturday’s game against the Wolfpack in Raleigh.
