Bernard-Jones, the 1-2 punch
Posted Nov 4, 2011
North Carolina has never had a 1,000-yard rusher and 1,000-yard receiver in the same season, but that dry spell should come to an end, perhaps as soon as the next game. Redshirt freshman TB Giovani Bernard has rushed for 935 yards and is averaging 107.2 a game this season. Senior WR Dwight Jones has 841 receiving yards and is averaging 93.4 a game.
