With Dooley, emphasis is always on FOOT-ball
Posted Nov 24, 2007
When talking football with retired football coach Bill Dooley, you're bound to hear football often. It's like the golf announcer at the golf course talking about the great golf shot he saw that could win the golf tournament. Dooley loves football, or FOOT-ball, as he says it, Alabama-style emphasis on the first syllable. Think John Madden, with a drawl. Dooley, 73, loves talkin' 'bout FOOT-ball, loves watchin' it, especially in person.
