Lucas: UNC Basketball Mailbag


There's a common theory that UNC will be weaker in the post defensively this season without . The long-armed one-year Tar Heel was an effective shot-blocking presence. But his lack of strength meant that he sometimes had trouble pushing bigger opponents off the block. It will be interesting to see how the Tar Heels progress defensively in the paint as Thompson and Stepheson get more comfortable with their roles. (Tar Heel Blue)
