Withers: No extra pressure on Tar Heels

Saturday’s game against Duke will be the final time that North Carolina’s 17 seniors play at Kenan Stadium. It might also be the final home game for interim coach Everett Withers, who is 1-4 since the hiring of new athletic director Bubba Cunningham was announced. Withers said he has had several good conversations with Cunningham and considers himself a candidate for the permanent position.
