UNC's Yates improving despite stat decline
Posted Nov 16, 2007
T.J. Yates started out the season looking more like TD Yates. He threw for three touchdowns in each of his first three games and was on pace to break nearly every single-season passing mark in UNC's record book. Since then, the going has been tough for Yates and UNC's offense. Yates, who hails from Marietta, Ga., returns to his home state looking to get back on track when the Tar Heels play Georgia Tech on Saturday (noon, WRAL).
