Beach Ball Classic to boast one of its best fields in years
Posted Dec 27, 2011
Creating much of the buzz about this year’s Beach Ball are 6-foot-6 guard Shabazz Muhammad of Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), who is considered the top senior in the country, and versatile 6-9 forward Julius Randle of Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas), who is considered the top junior by many. Jahlil Okafor, a 6-11 center from Whitney Young High (Chicago), is the consensus No. 1 center in the sophomore class.
