Giants give FB Madison Hedgecock an extension thru 2012
Posted Nov 10, 2007
The Giants signed FB Madison Hedgecock to a contract extension through 2012 today, the team announced. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available. The Giants claimed Hedgecock, 26, off waivers from the Rams earlier this year. Since then, he's proven to be an very good blocker. Hedgecock, who played at North Carolina and was drafted in the seventh-round by the Rams in 2005, would have been a restricted free agent at season's end.
