Greensboro QB James Summers switches commitment from NC State to UNC

James Summers, who quarterbacked Greensboro Page past Garner in the state 4AA football championship in December, switched sides today when he committed to the University of North Carolina after announcing for N.C. State last April. “It’s huge,” said Chad Simmons, the regional manager for football recruiting in the Southeast for scout.com. “Any time a staff can come in and target and take away one of the top recruits from its rival, it is really big."
