No. 5 North Carolina overcame foul trouble and a nine-point second half deficit to spoil Maryland’s upset plans on Saturday with a tough 83-74 road victory. Tyler Zeller led UNC with 22 points and Barnes added 18 points. John Henson posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Kendall Marshall tied is UNC record for most assists in an ACC game with 16.
