Tar Heels keep an eye on depth chart

Depth was not supposed to be an issue for North Carolina this season. Instead, Coach Roy Williams’ biggest concern in that area was going to be keeping all his stars happy. Williams probably wishes he had that problem now. Guards Dexter Strickland and Leslie McDonald are out for the season with knee injuries, and guard P.J. Hairston sat out Saturday’s game with a sore left foot. (Durham Herald-Sun)
