Nerlens Noel eliminates two schools from list

Consensus 5-star center , who recently reclassified from the 2013 recruiting class to the 2012 class, has eliminated Florida and Providence from his final list of college choices, according to CBSSports.com senior basketball writer Jeff Goodman.

Noel's list now consists of Kentucky, Syracuse, North Carolina, Georgetown and Connecticut. There has been no timetable released on when Noel might make a decision, but he has attended various college games recently and has stated a desire to visit a few more schools before making a decision. There is no word on if or when he will visit UNC.

Noel appears to be the last remaining target on UNC's 2012 recruiting board as seemed to indicate when he recently mentioned on his radio show that he may not be finished with the 2012 class. Williams, however, did not mention Noel by name since that is not permitted under NCAA rules.
