Marcus Paige plays hero again for Linn-Mar
Posted Mar 7, 2012
Marcus Paige has a knack for the dramatic. The Linn-Mar of Marion senior gave his basketball team its first lead with a jump shot with 1:07 left, and provided the long assist for the go-ahead basket by Andy Henry for the Lions’ 51-50 win over Dubuque Senior in the Class 4-A state quarterfinals Wednesday. With North Carolina coach Roy Williams in attendance, Paige dazzled with a game-high 23 points and a string of clutch plays.
