This just might have been UNC’s hardest fought victory of the season. The Tar Heels were without Kendall Marshall, the point guard who suffered a broken right in a victory six days ago against Creighton, and Marshall’s absence was obvious. Stilman White didn’t play poorly – in fact his six assists and no turnovers might have exceeded expectations – but UNC’s offense was still a mess for much of the game
