The Tar Heels on the court moved slowly to the sideline, begrudgingly lining up behind their coach. Leslie McDonald and Dexter Strickland came down from the stands to join their teammates. Senior Justin Watts stayed on the bench. The four-year reserve had just played his final 12 minutes in a North Carolina uniform. If you don’t stand up—if you can just stay there—maybe it doesn’t end. Maybe it’s not over.
