Harris Barton was a four-year starter for the Tar Heels during the 1983-86 seasons, first at center and then at tackle. He earned first-team All-America honors as a senior in 1986. That year he helped lead a UNC offensive unit that led the ACC in total offense and ranked sixth nationally.
