Californian gets his kicks at UNC

Terrence Brown loves the South, loves UNC and seems happy -- if only it weren't for the fried food. "The food takes a while to get used to," the native of Fresno, Calif., said. "I'm not used to fried food. Besides that, everything is perfect. I love it." North Carolina's punter is making a difference. On 36 punts this season, Brown is averaging 42.9 yards with a long of 64 yards. He's placed 14 inside the opponents' 20-yard line.
