Kevin Reddick made no apologies for calling out Bryn Renner and his offensive teammates for their slow tempo in a 7-on-7 drill during a leadership committee meeting earlier this summer. “Bryn, you need to pick up the pace.” In other football programs across the country, as well as previous UNC squads, such a direct criticism could potentially fuel rage and resentment within the ranks.
