More On UNC DT Commitment Greg Webb

North Carolina added to its nationally recognized 2013 recruiting class with the recent commitment of defensive tackle . Webb became the first prospect to de-commit from Penn State following the announcement of severe sanctions against the Nittany Lions. It’s unclear what role the sanctions played in Webb’s decision to end his commitment. Webb’s commitment was “soft” and he was already “looking around” prior to the sanctions. The fact that Webb made his decision so quickly on the heels of the announcement of the penalties would seem to bolster that line of thinking. (ACC Sports Journal)
